Help Our Poor Elderly – Project HOPE: An outreach and referral program designed to seek out and identify hard to reach elderly citizens in Nassau County and link them to services and entitlements available to meet their needs. HOPE provides its consumers with information and referral services related to: food subsidies, nutritional resources, housing, employment, health / health insurance programs, home heating assistance, and much more.
